Jesus, be my guiding light
in the darkness of the night.
When I'm lost and all seems grey,
shine your light, show me the way.

Jesus, be my arm of might
in life's battles I must fight.
When I'm weak and all seems lost,
give me strength, help bear my cross.

Jesus, be my mind's eyesight
in the midst of wrong and right.
When I'm torn and all seeems blurred,
show your will, reveal your word.

Jesus, You're my soul's delight;
You're my beacon shining bright.
Lead me safely to the Shore
to find rest and toil no more.

Jesus, Lord, whom I adore,
