the Holy Church, God consecrates those whom
he chooses in a congregation and entrusts
them to the service of evangelization. The
Evangelical Counsels are the guidelines aiding
us, as Dominicans, to persevere in our consecration
to God the Father and to transform our lives
into a total act of continual worship. A chaste
soul helps us to open our arms and hearts
to welcome and love all peoples with unconditional
love. The life of poverty leads us to share
the suffering of the poor. The spirit of obedience
stamps a seal on our hearts' search to find
God's Divine Will in the consecrated life
and through our apostolic work. |
